My colleagues here at Leadership Network are working on a new multi-site book, and want to mention multi-site churches that have a campus at a YMCA. Do you know of a multi-site church that meets in a YMCA as one of its campuses?

New Hope Church is a multi-site church in the greater Houston, TX area (Manvel & Pearland). Partnering with the YMCA allowed us to launch a second campus at minimum cost Easter weekend 2008. We saw 685 in attendance for grand-opening and currently have over 450 people in two Sunday services. The YMCA is a perfect venue for the way we do church. We love the kids areas and have taken advantage of the heated pool with 13 baptisms already in 2009.

We were going to do it in downtown Memphis, but the Y was just to small for us.
